Acorn House was opened in 2002, and replaces the CRYPT where we were based for 35 years. The house has 16 individual bedrooms and a structured therapeutic programme specifically designed to benefit our client group in addressing issues of alcoholism and homelessness. Our programme is abstinence based and incorporates group therapy sessions, individual counselling and key working.
Our clients are positively encouraged to participate in Alcoholics Anonymous outside the project. We offer a safe environment and time for men to recover physically, mentally and emotionally. We continue to support men with a structured after care programme as they move from the project.
Opening Times
We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
